Root Canal Treatment

Root Canal Treatment

Root Canal Treatment saves teeth from extraction and allows normal function afterward.

Dental root canal treatment removes infected pulp, cleans and shapes the root canal, and fills it with gutta-percha to prevent further infection. It can be done in one or two visits, often followed by a crown or filling to restore the tooth’s strength and function. Mild sensitivity may occur after treatment, and good oral hygiene is essential to prevent reinfection.

At Dr. Sunil International Dental Clinic, most root canals are completed in a single visit of up to 2 hours, while complex cases may need two visits. The procedure is usually painless with anesthesia, and restoring the tooth promptly ensures long-term success and prevents future infections.

Dental Implants

Dental Implants

Dental implants restore missing teeth with a natural look and function, improving comfort, health, and confidence.

Dental implants are a durable, natural-looking solution for missing teeth. They help preserve jawbone health, improve comfort, and restore confidence. Implants act as artificial roots, usually made of titanium, and can support single crowns, bridges, or full-arch restorations.

At Dr. Sunil International Dental Clinic, treatments range from single-tooth implants to full-mouth solutions like All-on-4. Patients receive temporary teeth during healing, and permanent restorations are placed after 4–6 months, with a focus on quality, aesthetics, and long-term care.

Crown Lengthening

Crown Lengthening

Gummy smile treatment reshapes gums or jaw structure to create a balanced, confident smile.

Gummy smile treatment varies by severity. Mild cases may be corrected with simple gum contouring to remove 1–2 mm of excess gum, while more complex cases require bone reshaping or grafting to restore the gum line, often caused by recession or periodontal issues.

Severe cases linked to jaw or bone structure may require surgical correction such as maxillary or bimaxillary osteotomy. Though recovery is longer, these procedures, done with specialist collaboration, provide lasting and aesthetic improvement.

Extraction & Oral Surgery

Extraction & Oral Surgery

Tooth extraction removes damaged or problematic teeth, either simply or surgically, to protect oral health.

Tooth extraction is performed for various reasons, including severe tooth decay or infection, advanced gum disease, fractures, preparation for braces, or poor appearance. Extractions are categorized as simple, for teeth visible in the mouth, or surgical, for teeth that are broken, impacted, or difficult to access, often requiring incisions and sometimes splitting the tooth for removal.

After extraction, patients should rest, avoid strenuous activity for 12–24 hours, and manage bleeding with gauze. Slight bleeding and tenderness are normal, and gentle rinsing with warm salt water can begin after the first 24 hours. A soft or liquid diet is recommended initially, and applying an ice pack can help reduce swelling.

Bone Grafting & Sinus Lift

Bone Grafting & Sinus Lift

A sinus lift at Dr. Sunil Clinic rebuilds lost jawbone to safely support future dental implants.

At Dr. Sunil International Dental Clinic, a sinus lift procedure is performed by cutting and lifting the gum tissue to expose the jawbone, creating a small window in the bone, and gently pushing the sinus membrane upward. Bone-graft material is then packed into the space to rebuild missing bone, and the tissue is stitched closed. Implants are typically placed 2–6 months later to allow the graft to integrate with the natural bone.

Recovery involves some swelling, minor bleeding, and care to avoid disturbing the graft. Saline sprays, pain medication, antibiotics, and antimicrobial mouthwash are prescribed to support healing. The stitches dissolve naturally, and over time, the grafted material remodels into functional bone, providing adequate support for future dental implants.
